Is there some kink of ETA for the next release? The seasom is approaching quickly.

This is not a complaint, just a question. I'd rather see a good product, then a rushed one, so I can be patient.

David has stated that he will not release a date or time estimation, because if there are unforeseen problems he will catch heck for any delay.
 
That stated, David and Matrix Games are well aware of the oncoming NFL and College football seasons.  I expect that a few public beta releases will be put out prior to the actual release of R3.  I don't have a public timetable available for that though.
