newb question

Just loaded the game up and read some of the rules and been puttering around for a couple hours. Just can't seem to be able to get navigation orders to stick for my units. One ship just seems to want to decide to keep changing direction and speed no matter what I do.

Units arn't grouped so thats not it. I cleared everything in the mission editor. What could it be? probably something very simple. Thanks.

Double-check that units are not grouped by:

1) Turn off NUMLock
2) Hit '9' hotkey on number pad

Your message window should say "Showing Groups" or "Showing Units"

You can also try:

A) Select ship
B) F3 [NAV hotkey]
C) use pointer to plot the path you want
D) F3 (to complete the order process)

Yep thanks. I went back and found I had an active TF even though I was trying to set movement of individual ships. I fixed that and now all is working.

Now to figure out the other 99% of the game.[:D]
