A brand new campaign-based 3D tactical engine covering combat in World War II, from the developers at Koios Works. The first operation covered is the famous "Wintergewitter" or Winter Storm, a desperate attempt by Hoth's 57th Panzer Korps to break through to the encircled 6th Armee at Stalingrad and the Soviet counter-attack by 2nd Guards Army that drove them back.

after being a long time CM fan i bought this game last night i took 1 look and thought ohh no i just bought a cold turkey and i was initialy very disapointed however after playing it i must say this is a really good game after starting the campaign as the germans i really love it and cannot put it down i guess i was expecting combat mission 4
it has some good and bad points but comparing it with combat mission it manages to hold it,s own i never played it without the patch so i guess i bought it at the best time and i look forward to any addons that may be released one minor flaw is the terrain it is very bland and needs more veriety i realise that snow is just white but maybe a bit of shading or something to add a little more depth to the terrain also maybe the sound could do with a little tweak anyone who has played combat mission will tell you the sound the tiger makes when it fires the 88 is awesome and more varied infantry fire would be nice so to sum up a big thanks to Erik and the team for producing a awesome game and keep up the good work [&o]

Thanks for the compliments! I think the next campaign, with non-winter terrain, will be more visually interesting than the snowy ground we've had so far. We're also planning to improve the sound effects in the future. What we have now is decent, but definitely has room for improvement.

Regards,
