Weather?

A brand new campaign-based 3D tactical engine covering combat in World War II, from the developers at Koios Works. The first operation covered is the famous "Wintergewitter" or Winter Storm, a desperate attempt by Hoth's 57th Panzer Korps to break through to the encircled 6th Armee at Stalingrad and the Soviet counter-attack by 2nd Guards Army that drove them back.

Weather?

Post by gijas17 »

I must have missed it somewhere but I just bought PC online and while I was playing it I noticed there is no weather conditions in the game such as blizzards, wind, snow, fog, etc. so will this be a possiblity in modding, future updates or game expansions?

Visibility is modeled in. It's part of the level data that's currently not modable. Myshkova River has very poor visibility, while Christmas Eve Push has the best visibility.

Yeah, I did know that but it would be nice to see some snow flakes around Christmas.

One of the many reasons why I liked CM BTB so much.

 Thanks.

gijas,

There wasn't a lot of precipitation during the battles themselves, based on our research. Your suggesiton is well-taken though, I agree that adding a more dynamic weather system would add a lot to the game.
