Rail Damage

Post by Steiner_NL »

Hi I'am new to this forum.

I have a question about wir.
My panzers are doing a good job in Russia, but I'am getting serious trouble with rail damage.

There aren't enemy units behind the lines who stand on the rail. How can I repair the damaged rail?

Can you guys give me a tip?

It's written in the manual. The rail is repaired when the supply of the hex reaches a specific level (4 after when blitzkrieg rules are over)

From the manual...

The Soviet and Axis forces ran on different gauge rail; therefore, the existing rail lines must be converted before they can become operational. A rail hex will become operational, beyond the existing railhead, when it is at SL 4 or higher and under friendly control. Under the Blitzkrieg rules, the SL must be at SL 8 or higher (June/July 1941) and SL 6 or higher (August 1941). During poor weather rail becomes operational at a slower rate. The EXAMINE RAIL function will allow you to examine friendly and enemy rail conditions.

ok thanks.

I have took a look at the manual but it seems like I haven't looked good enough.

Although I must wait a couple of turns to go furthur into Russia. Hope that my supply situation will be better then. At this time it is very dramatic.

Thanks for your replies.
