Theatre Options

Norm Koger's The Operational Art of War III is the next game in the award-winning Operational Art of War game series. TOAW3 is updated and enhanced version of the TOAW: Century of Warfare game series. TOAW3 is a turn based game covering operational warfare from 1850-2015. Game scale is from 2.5km to 50km and half day to full week turns. TOAW3 scenarios have been designed by over 70 designers and included over 130 scenarios. TOAW3 comes complete with a full game editor.

Theatre Options

I looked in the manual and cannot find an answer.

Game tells me I have theatre options, I guess a batch of reinforcements, but cannot find where to activate them.

Hi, you can find the theatre options in the menue view->theatre options. When you have reinforcements a separate game pop-up will appear: REINFORCEMENTS - You have reinforcements. These can be viewed by clicking on the outer right button of the lowest row of buttons on the right side of the game window (the small tank without the checkboard background). Clicking on the tank with the checkboard background will show the expected reinforcements with the location and the date of arrival. However, there can only be seen reinforcements that are set to enter on a certain turn, not such reinforcements that are triggered by an event.

You select a theatre option by simply clicking on the button left of it. A red button indicates that an option is selected.

Edit: The button is on the left side.. [;)]

PS.  Can't believe how much I am enjoying this release after having played Century of Warfare off and on for years.  Really great fun, thanks.
