Is this version less intensive than HANW?

Post by Tomus »

I am playing HANW on a 1.8ghz, 512mb (I know close to minimum) laptop as well as my desktop but I travel a lot with work so the laptop is easier and the processor jumps to 100% usage whenever I boot up H3ANW.

Is the commander version less intense on the system than H3ANW?

It depends on the size of the scenario.

I am also running 1.6gHz and 384mB RAM. Some of the HCCE scens are so large that I can only play them in 1:1 time.

Tomus,
HC will also show 100% CPU utilization and just like in H3, CPU utilization it isn't a perfect indicator of just what a program requires to run. Both H3 and HC will share the processor with other programs when they need to.

Sincerely,
