SCHEDULES

Post by pdozer63 »

I have been digging around looking for an .ini file or something that would show me the default schedule that was created when i started a new season but I cannot find it. It is not very accurate, i.e opponenets in different divisin playing each other twice in a regular season, I would like to edit the schedule before a season begins. Is this possible to do and how can I do it?

The schedule is a table in the league database.

There is a schedule program on MaxFB.com.  I have not used it though.

I am hoping that a schedule tool will be available in Release 3 or Release 4.

I am assuming you mean the league .mdb file? what program can I use to view this file? Or do I need the schedule tool you are referring to? Thanks for responding.

Yes, it is saved as a table called schedules in the league mdb file.

You can use tools at MaxFB.com or Microsoft Access 97 to edit it.  You should make sure you have the changes you want to make prior to trying to edit any schedule or a mess will likely be the result.

As I stated in another topic, it is my hope that a front end will be included in the game in a future release.

There is also a file on FBMax that shows you how to edit Max database files with Open Office, which is a free program, very similar to a Microsoft Works sort of thing.

I already opened a league file and it doesnt look too difficult to edit the schedule. Its still listed with the unsorted files, and is called  MaximuFootballWithOpenOffice.zip
