Patch won't activate

Just got TOAW III and am trying to patch it up, but the patch will not activate. Is the "patch machine" down for some reason?

I'm afraid I don't know what you're saying here.

Do you mean that you can't download the patch?

Or, that you have downloaded the patch, but you can't extract it?

Or, that you've downloaded the patch, extracted, but don't know what to do next?

I mean the patch will not download. I went to the support section, keyed on the TOAW patch, then key on the "file" and it doesn't proceed from there.

Same here - click on the link to the patch and "a cannot find server - the page cannot be displayed" error msg pops up.

This always happens for me with Matrix patches. Last time, I finally managed to connect to the ftp server by turning off my firewall. But Im sure I'd tried that before without it working, so I have no idea what the issue actually is. Wouldn't be surprised if the Matrix ftp set-up was flaky in some way.

Definitely flaky.  Am also trying to get the WITP patches--no luck.

It'd probably yield better results indeed to post on the WitP sub-forum. I don't have any patch at hand for this game [;)]

I can't get anything from Matrix either. I'm trying to get the patch now and get the cannot connect to server error also.

I too have not been successful in downloading the patch for TOAW III.  Is there some trick to it that is not obvious?
