Please help me make progress with BTR

OK dont laugh. I'm stuck on the introductory scenario and dont see much point in progressing to the campaigns until I can crrack this, given that it is easier with triple points.

I have tried different combinations of bomber groups at different altitudes. The last attempt I bombed the primary target with 300 + bombers and still didnt get the required points for industrial damage.

What am I doing wrong? Is it possible to win this scenario?

always remember, there are tricks with in tricks
 
I think it has been ages since I played it last, but I remember that Terror was always close to gaining another point, and that was one of the tricks, break off a small raid to hit a Marjor RR and Area target (Hamm is a good one, Kassel is another)
 
you get a good drop on either of those two, you will get a good jump in SD and Terror points
 
300 bombers for one target may be too many, drop it down to 180 for the Main and 120 for a the next largest
 
now, in the past, the battle could be won, point wise, but over all, it was not really a good day for the Air Corps

my games all have the OOB updates, so the score is wrong, so the battle is already won before it starts
 
but, my test run, I nailed the 2 targets to give me the edge, and then missed on the 2 deep raids !!!!

I dont have any OOB updates, but i have never been able to score more than 10/11 even after trying your suggestions.

well, in our verison, I am showing a starting score of 10, and need 11 ?
 
I got the score to 13 during the day, but the AS dropped back to one, so ended with 12
 
so over all I got 2 points, would 2 points been enough in the early verison ?
 
(I hit the 8 pointer good, the 23 point to 50%, Hamm to 75/20% and missed the Arm plant due to clouds, I lost too many planes 81, but part of that was one of the raids was to fly with the main raids and break off, but I forgot to reset the start time !!!!)
