How do I get the game to run full screen right now it play in a small window?

In the launcher, you will see a tab marked "Video and Sound Options",
uncheck the run in window box.

How about adding an opt file that lets you resize that window to whatever size you want or is this possible somehow with that opt file ?  Is there a repository for opt files to add ?  The program Orbiter uses a VERY similar kind of startup menu and you can load files into that area that add all kinds of extra stuff to that program.

The new Beta 3.7.1 launcher allows you to re-size your window to pretty much anything you like. It will be released with the upcoming patch.  [:)]
