That game was so pathetic it was funny. Me lying there with my CBT gone, no ammo for the one weapon I could fire prone, trying to get up with a 2% chance, meanwhile she's standing over me with a one-armed titan with heavy damage to both the engine and heat reg, only able to hit me once every fifty seconds or so. Neither of us wanted to give up though, so it was a total gimp fight. Fun, though.

I'm sorry but you can't have your head back dear Lady. I won it fair and square (well, square anyway)

Had quick recon duel with PC this morning. Once again, I got his Timothy (This makes the 3rd recon fight I've had with PC, and the 3rd time I've gotten Timothy..interesting, huh?) PC got a Badger, which worried me. BRG is nasty on a little recon. Everything went in my favor, though. When we engaged, I got off the first shots, and his return fire missed. My next shot knocked him down, and I got a few hits in before he could get up. When he rose, my shots knocked him down yet again. He rose once more, and this time set my woods on fire, which really hurt me. The heat reg in Timothy is NOT equipped to deal with fire, so I charged him. By the time I hit him, my heat was in the red, but he fell and I didn't, and my punches took out his RT. (Or was it RA...I can't recall). He rose from his own ashes and shot my in the leg, but amazingly, I stayed up. After that, we exchanged more punches, but I had a two to one advantage, there. Finally, I knocked out his engine and won.

Uhhh, it was my left arm. I still had my BRG and one Machine Gun, but then he took out my CT and RT, so I was gone.

The gimp fight of all time IMHO occured last night between Hezter, THM and I. AI + me vs THM and Hetzer. It was going smoothly until an untimely disconnection by THM. I transfered control over to the AI and Hetz and I continued the battle. It turns out the AI were the heroic warrios of this battle. They did almost everything right while Hetz and I stumbled and groveled in the mud. After finally killing THM's AI controled titan I was a wreak (no arms) with 1 working pulse laser. My Ai titan rushed over to Hezt and gave him a pounding the likes of which I've not seen for a while. Hetz gave it his all and finally overcame the AI but only barely. He wasn't looking to hot. So it was pulse laser (prone) vs ac7 gimp. After a very long tortuous battle I suffered a meltdown. Aargh. ONE of the best battles I've seen in a long time.

Here I was, wandering along in Iceland, minding my own buisness, when Michael popped up in a Buckshot (SRMs and NB, and a laser) and started shooting at me! I was so upset I almost cried.

So I hopped in my (or his, GMs, SRMs, PL, twin CLGs) Ballista R3, and returned fire.

We shot missiles and lasers at each other like there was no tomorrow, then he set the forrest I was standing in on fire... it was nice and toasty, so I warmed my hands over the campfire and continued shooting.

He then ran into the Hex to the west of me, tried to jump in a dense wood, and fell on his can, turning his RT yellow, (before that, I had hit his head with the PL and turned it yellow) and giving me a chance to pump him full of lasers and missiles. He then got up and just stood there firing, turning my RT yellow, so I charged him and we both fell down. I got up first, with a yellow CT and LT to accesorize my RT, and started wailing on him with my fists, turning his CT, left and right leg yellow, then I turned his CT red and blew out his RT.

After that he just gave up

But, nice to have two wins under my belt, thanksm Mike!

Well, I redeemed myself a bit against The Happy Moron. We dueled with assaults, I got a Prometheus, she got the Grim Reaper. It was my game from the start. My range was just too much greater than hers, so I picked away armor until she fell apart. At the end, she DFA'd me and knocked me down, but her heat reg was too damaged to allow a full assault, and I got up and destroyed it completely, winning.

I wupped hetzer. That's why I don't get too upset when he sets it to assaults. They have such nice large CTs, perfect for sniping. Havin five Gauss' didn't hurt any.

I beat on a poor innocent little girl. It was fun. I ended by throwing an AC7 into her LoT (where her engine was), but only after she had disabled my RT. Had me worried, but I knew I'd toast her.

You know, I really should just stop playing Lyhrrus. He's ruining my record all by himself.

Whaaaat? Me? O-=) I only took two more games away from you tonight.

First one at my place, I got a Blender (homemade) while he got a Deep Fryer (homemade as well). I wasn't that happy at first because the Deep Fryer dissapates heat really well. But that soon changed. I was able to sneak in close enough to Michael before we could fire at each other and round after round of missiles wore away at his cellophane thin armor. Soon enough his right side was red, but then he turned around. Then his left side became red before he did one last Alphastrike, almost shutting me down and then shutting down himself. His heat reg gave out soon after.

Second one happened at his place, this time the positions were reversed. He got an Ember while I had a Hunter (homemade, similar to the Predator). Michael started sniping me from afar before I could see him, and when I did, he promptly set my hex on fire with a miss, obscuring my vision. I made a mad dash for some water after emerging from my forst path while he shot me up some more. Finally I settled down and lit his hex on fire and started pounding some shots into him. Then, on a couple lucky ML shots, I damaged his heat reg and knocked him down before he could leave his hex. Soon after a rack of NMs exploded and Michael conceded. Those Embers sure make good fire starters.

Had good night (Thursday) so far. Beat Lyhrus in an extremely close game that was won because my Warlord had DCS and his Mammoth didn't. He had paired AC7s/LLs for long range and paired AC20s/flamers for short so that i couldn't win at any range but a comp and a gyro hit gave me my way out

Lost to PC cause I couldn't hit the broadside of a planet

Beat Zaddiq with my WidowMaker vs his AresB at my house

PC had an excellent night. Girlie demanded satisfaction for her earlier loss, ao I wupped her some more. She actually had e really worried this time, but I managed to take out her LoT, then call one final shot to her head for the win. I think I will turn it in for the gazillion dollar reward

It wasn't even a couple lucky shots, Lyhrrus. It was one single ML shot to my leg, which had 47 armor, that damaged my heat reg. and totally lost the game for me. Blah.

Just finished a very tense game with Bernd. We were using Heavies, I got a Bad Omen and he got a custom of someone's called Fire & Ice. It's got 2 CLGs and a LL. The first few exchanges were all mine, I got in three PG shots to his 2 LLs. I was attempting to stay out of range of his CLGs, since they could cut through my armor in a hurry. I ducked around some hills and then back in the same direction, only to find that not only had Bernd followed me, but somehow he'd kept LoS the whole time, since the moment he stepped up onto the medium hill, he cut loose on me. I returned fire, and my BRG knocked him down, cutting of my LoS. Once again, he kept his, somehow, and blasted me when he stood. Wasn't the different elevation, different LoS problem supposed to be gone? I can't figure out how I couldn't see him both times. We even had the same level of scanner. Anyway, we exchanged fire for a while, with me getting the worst of it, though I did start doing damage to his LA. We both jumped into pits, taking the time to cool off and scan. I finally decided that a direct attack was the only way I'd be able to hurt him enough to get a win. I tried jumping at him, but he knocked me out of the air. I got up, though, and ran at him. By that point, one more CLG shot to either my LoT or RT would've taken it out and finished me off. Fortune smiled on me, though. A lucky NB shot knocked him unconscious, giving me time to run up on him and beat the living daylights out of his titan. I shot off his damaged LA, then a punch to the head killed his weakened jock. Thanks for the awesome game, Bernd.

It was as always. If you do a called shot you miss everytime, if you don't the shots tend to hit the same target spot more often. No excuses though. The winner was that NB, first shooting me dizzy and then unconscious for the rest of the game
We'll have to make up for that!

And to clarify that LoS problem: With Michael on the hills and me on the plains I couldn't see him.
The other way round no problem. Even lying prone on the medium hill I could see him, with that big hill in between only blocking direct fire.

Please make a sketch and show me who could see/not see whom in what situation. These cases are too rare to check the code if I do not get the chance to see it with my own eyes.

I actually snagged a screen shot of our positions. Do you have an email I can send the picture to?
