how did decide to stand and fight ? Aren't you supposed to avoid battle as much as possible whenever it isn't capital to stop his aerial offensive, ie whenever he is not coupling it with ground offensive...

This is a big defeat... Your biggest since your CV victory... Keep up the fight and trains pilots, you have some rank filling to do...

Oupps... Sorry I didn't pay attention enough... BTW, I didn't mean to criticise or anything, just asking a question, but I guess since this is an open AAR you cannot enter too much into details without revealing to much of you operational methods.

Keep it up and make the emperor proud !!

hmmm... I wouldn't call that gamey, because this LCUs are part of SEAC, so gamewise it is acceptable...  But the in WITP the allies are a coalition facing a unique country ( well one could talk about IJN and IJA being 2 countries... )... The question is what is the abilities of each member of the coalition to deploy outside their original box..

US troops could perfectly well deploy in India, they would just have to be transported across the atlantic and round Africa.. Same for UK troops in West coast... but the idea that Chinese troops could appear in Karachi once China is under jap boot... well... I am not sure it is plausible... You could talk about some form of resistance like French and Poles in exile, but then that means not enough manpower to man 8 divs...

If you are fine with it, then its OK, other wise you could argue with Raver that each of them should stop allowinf reinforcements once it reaches 80 or 100 Assault points, to emulate the limited exiled chinese manpower ?

Anyway, If you are both fine with, then it's OK.

Keep up, Banzai !!!

i don't have any idea what to do
sooner or later it will be over 1k AV maybe even close to 2  and it will be cannon fodder with chinase replacement
i think you are right
units are ok but soon their replacements should be turned off
let's see what Raverdave suggest

Well I think that Chinese troops are f**cking usless........I'll use them maybe in India to keep the the locals in check....or i might make them do a LONG march back to China.

Wow -- very impressive score for October '43. IIRC you two are going to play the game out to the end and ignore the auto-victory. Have you established what constitutes a moral victory for the Japanese side?
Civil war? What does that mean? Is there any foreign war? Isn't every war fought between men, between brothers?

we already ignored AutoVictory[8D]
no moral victory
no points counted
we play till the moment when I will be unable to play
my personal conditions are Osaka & Tokyo in allied hands
maybe sth more as I must feel it is end when we stop
I think late 45 will be the end

10/14/43
time to report current situation and last few days actions
naval actions:  only asw war which results are on my side
enemy offensive is halted - I managed to sink many and damage even more subs
almost no losses to merchant fleet
within last week I lost 1 - or 2 small transports and 1 PC for 2 subs
currently i have info about 4 subs on communication lines and I'm sure there are less than 10 of them in use
last day AV tangier was hit by 2 torps - there is chance she will sink soon
air actions : enemy raids in 3 areas
timor - without my opositions
india - places without cap are targeted
PNG - only place of serious combat
looks like enemy radar base at thursday isl helps allied a lot as i see huge diffrence in my A2A results
during last 2 days i lost 80 planes to 40 allied ones and I start losing 3:1 from initial 1:1 3 months ago with similar pilot quality
land action : I'm eliminating remaining chinase forces north of sian - 35k casualties / 25% during last 2 turns
within next 2 weeks there will be no chinase soldier in china and asian continent will be freed of western influences.

things move slowly as we are both quite busy so 1-2 turns /day only

all chinase resistance is destroyed
china is quiet place again and Emperor is pleased with this news
troops will be redeployed soon as they are in a good shape
pity that land combat model halted me for so long and i doubt there will be no offensive use for this troops
good news is that i had few bad shape bde in chungking and managed to buy out 3 of them
they are already moving toward southern dei
