Fried brains

Shouldn't an Android's positronic brain (or whatever, too much Asimov in my youth )be *more* affected by a neutron beam than an organic brain ? Any experts in the field out there? Just a thought, not trying to nerf Androids.

It would seem so. But the lead lining around the processing circuits prevents this. If humans would just wear their tin foil caps they'd be unaffected as well.
"I've always pictured the androids as just uploading their data into the TOS rather than an actual robot sitting in a chair in the head". The android uploads into the TOS and becomes the TOS. That is how i picture it.

I've also give a lot of thought and background to the other 3 races. These will be described in detail in our upcoming WS release.

Lead around the processing circuits?! Ok, I can live with that.
I kinda like the robot sitting in a chair version better, it gives you a feeling of actually battling *someone*.
Just one remark on the background that's in the Matrix site. It talks about "other races" as if they're alien races or something. Well, all races except the Androids are human, so there is only *one* race really, and Androids are not really a race. That intro makes you think of the game as something like one of those space strategy games of war between races, which is not the case. But hey, I'm just throwing in my 2c.

Wouldn't the android have to be in the head, simply because if you shoot the head off a titan piloted by an android, it kills the android like any other jock?
We sometimes catch a window
A glimpse of what's beyond
Was it just imagination
Stringing us along?
More things than are dreamed about
Unseen and unexplained
We suspend our disbelief
And we are entertained
