Own scenarios

I was wondering. Is there anyone who has dared to make their own (fictional) scenario (and are you willing to share it with us) [:)]?

I'm working on a Cypriot one...but it's slow going 'cause the tools are powerful and, with that, pretty complicated....so I am learning to use the map and scenario designer as well as create something usable.

You can see the map here http://www.matrixgames.com/forums/tm.asp?m=1236382

I have no idea how long it's going to take...I'm not 100% happy with the map, but I think I'm going to stick with it for a first attempt. I was looking at adding objectives the other night, the ultimate being the taking of Akritiri airfield. I've also created some units on the map....but they need to be seriously reviewed...then play testing for ease etc...

So it could be a while....but I am still working on it.

Billy,

I recommend you start off simple, both with forces and objectives. Start with one of the existing templates and change the map to your new one. Plonk some forces from the list already included in the template. Place one objective per side that goes for the duration of the scenario. Run it in the game. After you have finished your first game, add a couple more objectives, add some reinforcements. Save it under another name. Test it. And so on, bit by bit till you get the hang of things.

Remember the KISS principle - keep it simple stupid.
