CINCPAC War Diaries Now Available!!!

Gentlemen,

I would like to announce that I have begun to scan the War Diary of the Commander-in-Chief, Pacific Fleet for the Second World War.

Each month will have intelligence and combat operations, Fleet organization and beginning in March 1942 a daily disposition of forces. After the December 1941 format, which was basically a running message log, this is the format CINCPAC used. Each file will be in Adobe Acrobat and you will need Acrobat Reader 7.0 to view them. The December 1941 file costs $3.00 for 92 pages.

These diaries are completely different from those on the Command and General Staff College web site. Those on the CGSC site are only a small portion (15-25%). The intelligence and operations summaries are left out in addition to all of the DAILY disposition of forces (re: ORDER OF BATTLE!!!)

If there is a question about copyright, the copyright law states that any document created by a government agency is not protected by copyright laws, thus can be used in any manner.
