NO SAVE! HELP!

Post by NovaTech »

Save doesn't work in battle module! It says "save game failed 2!". What's wrong? I use celeron 566 mhz and I have MS Windows 98. And I surely have enough space in hard disk to save game. Anyone knows what the problem is?

The save function for the early TOS games isn't that user friendly.
On the plus side. Warring suns has 9 Save slots and they all work.

Wrong Eric, saves are as stable in v1.4 as they are in WS. Error 2 does mean the file couldn't be opened for writing.

This can be the case if its write protected, the user is playing directly from CD, he has two applications locking the file or other strange circumstances.

Please delete save*.* from the data folder, check that the directory is writable and retry. Do not play from CD.

ToS save has proven functional even in v1.4, I bet its not game related.
