An airforce is already operational out of the captured base, after one day.

Just a few fighters. You didn't leave me enough supply to base bombers there[;)]
More easy VP's for the IJN when Columbo falls. They'll be lots of dead troops then! The RN has shot it's wad, and the RAF is dead! It only took a week to do it![;)]
Maybe. First things first though, I have to figure out some way to get supplies in there with 550 mines in the port and all my MSW sunk. I suppose I could use my many wrecked APs to clear some of them out[:D]

[/quote]

bah the mines aren't that bad, especially when you have detected the minefield. You may lose a transport or two but nothing big imho.

Anyone ever notice that speed plays absolutely no bearing on anything except maybe hit probability? Really, faster TFs should be able to dictate the combat and not be pounded to dust by slower TFs or have slower TFs break away from them.

We were just graced by the Patch Gods. Give it a few days before you restart the Gripe-o-matic. [:D][;)]

Hey, don't get me wrong, it was great that they patched all those bugs. But they were predominantly bugs after all. I'm referring to design issues like A2A, land combat and surface combat. Now if they modified these designs and got them working more satisfactorily then that would be freaking amazing.[&o]

Go Ron go!

BTW even there is no perfect game that does not mean we should not struggle to reach at least near perfection.

Neat stuff! Shows how good Brits are in this game in night combats too compared to USN. That extra night exp does show well.
