Does the windows Harpoon 3 play on 64-bit cpu?

Also is there a demo to see if the performance inprovements are real?

I think he refers to the original (pre-ANW) H3, since the performance (and stability) improvement between H2 and H3 was very impressive and constituted one of the selling points. ANW does not improve significantly on performance or stability compared to v3.6.

The demo for H3 v.3.6 was available at the AGSI site, but has now been pulled off.

Thanks, I guess I was not real clear. I mainly want to know if H3: ANW latest version plays on 64-bit processor and if the performance inprovements that I have read about on line are a lot better than previous versions.

The reason why I wanted the Demo mainly was to see any improvements, but I see now that it maybe a bad way to judge the Harpoon 3 ANW 3.7 version

Thanks Kithing

I run H3ANW on Windows Server R2 x64. So yes, H3 will run on 64-bit processors as well as 64-bit versions of Windows.

Kithing,

The improvements are real enough to bring me out of retirement. I had been absent from the Harpoon community for about 4 years+ and after visiting this forum and looking around the Web I decided it was worth getting back into Harpoon.

I can only say my decision was a good one, the game is stable, there's a good process in place to support the users. AGSI and Matrix Games are both working hard to improve the game and iron out bugs as soon as they are found and can be fixed.

I can highly recommend H3ANW to you. There's a host of user contributed databases, scenarios and many other tools and utilities on the numerous Harpoon websites around.

Thanks
