I played it as Germans and while it had surprises allright I didn't think them too nasty. Very fun scenario actually. Map is well done and feels very real.

Easy victory for Germans, would had been easier but when I was playing it the time was well past midnight and I was forgetting to move things now and then

Gotta try it later as Russians, but I can already recommend this scenario. You won't have boring moments.
