attack bonuses and penalties

Post by marko74 »

Hi. Does anybony knows how to interpretate numbers which are shown when you place "attack" command on your opponents troops team ? Exactly for example if there is shown: +4/-2 what does it mean ?
I know that this are bonus and penalties "to hit" but how to know what is better: +4/-2 or +2/-4, +7/-5 or -7/+5 ? I know that in the bottom window are shown counted bonuses and penalties and total "bonus to hit" but if I count them and digits shown during placing attack command - it doesn compare together ! I don't understand ...:-(

If I'm not mistaken, the first number is your attack modifier and the seond is the opponent's defense modifier, so the more positive the first number the better and the more negative the second number the better too.
