Scott,
Michael likes those repeat cruises back to Hawaii.
He did that with me a couple of time.
Just make sure your air defenses are built up. [:D]

Clean up on isle 6.... <grin> B-sides, Hawaii is a great place to vacation. I'm thinking about putting it under new management - lol.

Scott - How can I attack if you don't send me a turn? [:D][:D][:D]

And the Marblehead is not high on my list now either... <Grin> It was an ugly action but in truth it could/should have been much worse. I think Scott's TF either ran out of ammo or maybe don't have the night-time training up to par yet - that's just a guess tho.

Wondering where the Japs will strike next. [X(] Looks like it is Soerabaja. Close to 35K of troops wanting to share the wealth of this godforsaken place. [8|] One bright point is that my ragtag Dutch Airforce consisting of Aussie rejects, British mental patients, and American doughboys on loan, finally hit something. [:'(][:)]

Yeah - this could have been a lot worse - truth B known... I had three TFs pushing to Soerabaja, transport, bombardment, and air combat. I had everyone following the transport tf and *thought* I had retire off... I was wrong... So my bombardment tf, after softening up soerabaja, started back to Singapore after the bombardment was complete... W/O air support... Which gave the Dutch an opportunity too good to pass up on.

But I do take Soerabaja on my next turn. I don't think Scott was quite ready for this attack:

AK Berouw scuttled at Soerabaja to prevent capture!
AK Batak scuttled at Soerabaja to prevent capture!
AK Surigao scuttled at Soerabaja to prevent capture!
AK Van Outhoom scuttled at Soerabaja to prevent capture!
AK Benkalis scuttled at Soerabaja to prevent capture!
AK Ban Ho Guan scuttled at Soerabaja to prevent capture!
ML Bangkalan scuttled at Soerabaja to prevent capture!

Still, Scott has done a pretty good job of syphoning off most of the oil/fuel/supplies from here. With a little luck on my part Borneo and Java should be under new management by mid April.

I really wish I had som Tojos - I've a long wait ahead with Oscars and Zeros as my primary fighters...

I kind of leap-frogged a little here in Java. I was hoping to tap into a chunk of Scott's transport ships. I did (from what I can see) put some dents in his shipping in that area... Now to find something else to mess with... lol.
