How's your multiplayer implementation working out?

Is it stable?

Can more than one player per side participate in the action?

The multiplayer implementation is working very well. Its two player only, any more than two players is a big step up in complexity to implement.

Hi Gregor,

Thanks for responding.

Do you have any specs for the quality of connection that's needed to do multiplayer?

Can you play on dial-up, for instance?

Thanks again,

Since it is a real time game, it is a good question. BUT I dont see any other way to play it offline.

Its hard to give guarantees since dialup varies in capacity, but we're not sending a huge amount of info, so it should play OK.

No. It's effectively a real time game, and PBEM play is not practical. However, carrier warfare can be a quick and brutal affair, and online games will not take too long and nor will they necessarily be need to be played to the last second of the scenario in order to get a clear result. If your carriers are sunk then so are you!
