Arkey

Yes, but in versions previous to 1.802 it did not matter, if you played the opening turn 10 times you would get the full gamete of variable opening scenarios. The one I am most after is operation Homeplate.

For the variable set up option to work you have to have historical first turn on. If you don't then you have to issue orders. This is a bug and it should be fixed if fixable. I prefer the variable set up to any other set up.

OK - the divide and recombine bug has not yet been nailed.

Generals which have already been bosted have kept their superior land rating even after the fix.  Surely this should have been addressed?

The combine/recombine bug is a code issue which was addressed. The "lingering" bad data is a data issue. You can either address that by replacing the commander or you can send us your file and we can set the commander to a different value.

The variable setup was designed to operate as an alternative when playing a Historical start. This is not a bug. It is the way the designers set it up AND is how it is written in the manual.
And it only is effective with scenarios # 8 & 15.

What do you need other than the saved game file?

OK will do.  It's with my opponent at the moment and he has internet connection issues at the mo so will probably be a couple of days
