I must add again that I don't understand HOW their heavy machineguns and mortar crews are not getting seperated with their varied rates of travel throu this kind of terrain?
All of their entrenched troop and mobile units of support are converging on the VH's and IF I get anything more than a draw I'll be really supprized!

It also feels like the AI for the japs doesn't get a mobility restriction of "MOST DIRECT LINE TO OBJECTIVES" that C&C "on" is giving my forces??? They seem to be free to go any direction that lets them engauge me where ever possible??

Its really showing this lack of restriction on the northern forward VH's, the enemy troops tracked diagonallyfrom the south like 12 to 18 hexes

And I don't know what I should do here because I sent a vetran platoon of commandos on a platoon of tanks, escorted by Priests carrying a section of infantry mortars and Bren squads supposedly overwatched by two snipers. they got nowhere fast, the snipers couldn't see where any of the fire was coming from!

"SPIT" Man,I've been killing them by the bus load and yet I still don't think I'll be able to hold the northern and central VH's!!! out of the five flags that compose the central group, four of the flags have switched nation 4 times since turn 16!! this start of turn 22 has dread written ALL over it?!&%$)@!<

Psst.....C&C only works for the Player; the AI does NOT abide by the restrictions of C&C.

India was great; could've stayed another couple of months. Just when I made a few contacts in the Indian Army (a Colonel, a Brigadier, and a couple of junior officers) I had to leave...I was looking for copies of some official Ministry of Defence books, histories of the Indian Army in WWII, and a friend my wife and I know in Lucknow happens to belong to the Army Club there; he introduced me to a number of officers who he thought might be able to help. I still hope to hear from them about the books.

the punishment my forces are recieving is leaning my thoughts toward a crushing defeat for my side, especially when you see whats left of my commando platoon and scattered groups of airborne. The southern and central zones might hold but the northern looks shakey!! this is the south VH's

I have two scenarios aleady available at the Depot: Gardner's Horse, and Knives in the Night. I have a few new ideas as well, if I can only find the time to do them up!
