Will it be possible to play solo against the AI? For those of us who have never played the game?

Also, are there countries where a newbie could play experienced players in PBEM without upsetting the game too much with their ineptness?

I'm pretty sure I've read that solitaire play will be possible.
 
Good Newbie Slot:  Turkey, with France as Mentor.

You can play the AI in solo mode or couple of friends can come over and you can play against the AI.

France, Britain, Austria, Prussia, Spain, Russia or Turkey are playable.
