First Bug in R3?

Post by dreamtheatervt »

Release: v.1.3.84
Problem: When saving formations, the stance of players is not saved, just the position of the players. Specifically, I want my FB and any TE on the LOS to be in a 3 point stance, so I put them in a 3 point stance and save it. When I open the formation later, the players revert back to their default stance (Running back for FB, receiver for TE).

Yeah, it's not major or crippling, but it is a little frustrating.

Stances are saved with the plays that are created from the formation. Not the formation itself.

Although it probably should and is something I can look at. When first developed, I left the formation 'stanceless' because many stances change from play to play even in the same formation.

The formation stance input field is available for input in the formation editor, but it does not save a stance there.

This is a known issue and was posted to the beta board a few builds ago.  It is one of the small issues that has been unresolved.

Another PDS related bug:

When saving plays, it adds spaces before the play name before I start typing. It's a pain to have to remember to hit backspace before I name my play.

On a second note, there still seems to be no mechanism to delete plays and formations from my hard drive in the PDS.

Deleting plays is done via the play books.

Were they correct in the actual game or is it just the utilities not listing them properly?
