Flying/Grounded Submarines - Sc 11

Post by DEB »

Shortly after the start of Sc. 11 the computer moved TF 230 ( USS Drum - SS ) onto 19,30 - a land hex ! It is now immovable - although it is still registered as "at Sea".
Under a previous patch this error was "corrected" - possibley only for particular Sc. known. If another patch ( 2.42 ? ) is done (re disappearing C-47's ), can this be fixed also?

You've been answered in the thread about V2.50.  It seems that it's a map hex side info issue that lets the sub enter the hex in error and then you're grounded.
Todd

I never thought that doing an AAR would be so time consuming and difficult.

Tocaff - I don't think this has been answered - only restated/explained in a more technical way. We still need someone to fix this problem.
Is was fixed in other scenario's so it can be done here. It may not fix my current game but it would stop it happening to me again ( or to anyone else in the future). See also my reply to the 2.50 patch statement.
