Troops' icons shifted

Hi all,
I'm an old WAW gamer from Italy. I've purchased AWD downloading it... after two times I played some scenarios to practice, I had a problem with the map on the screen:
1. icons of all units are shifted down and to the right, so that they are placed not in their right position, troops placed in isles or peninsulas are now on the sea, troops of West Germany are in Switzerland and so on.
2. Unit total present in each region doesn't appera any more, so I have to click on unit icon of every region to see how many troops are present, and believe me....it's annoying.
The game itself runs, except for reply which doesn't work, and I'm already playng a pbem game; how may I solve this problem?
Have to wait for a patch?

Im not 100% sure what might be causing problems for you. If anyone else is having this problem please post here. I will try asking around for you as I personally do not know. I have a suspicion it might be hardware related as I am sure people would be flooding with complaints as this problem is widespread. I would suggest reinstalling and updating drivers just to see if that might fix anything, never hurts to try. Otherwise Ill try to get back to you with an answer.

Could you post a screen shot showing the problem please as well as a dxdiag report. Its not a problem I have heard anyone else run into - so I am inclined to agree with kamimazininja that it sounds like a hardware / driver issue.
