no victory screen

played the game to the end germany, then japan surrendered. at the end of the video for the of japan, a victory screen did not appear. i think it was because just before the ussr took berlin it invaded greece and the militia on crete went german. the ussr then conquered germany, but the militia on crete remained. the wallies went on then to conquer japan. i tried an experiment. i reloaded a save germany had already surrendered, but the militia on crete had not gone german. the wallies took cete before conquering japan. the japan surrender video played, but still no victory screen. i am at a loss of how to get a victory screen.

If you have a save game (just) prior to Japan surrendering then please mail that to me so I can look into the issue.

My best guess at this time is that the issue is due to playing with the option "no end date".
 [/align]If you have a save before the fall of Japan I would very much like to have that (the one you sent me is after) - otherwise I will try to recreate the situation myself to be able to look deeper into the cause.[/align] [/align]I will report back once I know more.[/align]
