defeating sam's and aaa

i am new to the game but not the genre.

i can't do a thing with sams and aaa. trying to use decoys and cut the burner off just after, jink against the aaa, use low emcom etc.. nothing is working

i could use some tactical advice.

i don't think that jammers are available?

Hmm, well I usually deal with the SAMs first, AAA second. Dodging SAMs is much harder IMO so they're my first priority. Use a low emcon setting without locking on to the targets to get as close as possible without them firing. Then use flares, afterburner, and zig-zag maneuvers to close within range of your own missiles, and let 'em have it. Rinse, Repeat.

As for AAA, *never ever* fly straight at or straight away from them. Always fly a little sideways, keeping the AAA to your three-o-clock or nine-o-clock. Wave up and down repeatedly so that their projectiles pass above or below you. By flying in a wave-pattern you can have a pretty good survivability against even 3 AAA going at you. You should take them out as soon as possible though, keeping your nose pointed at them for as short as possible.

Emcom will reduce the range at which you will be detected but it is not useful against SAMs or AAA.

I just nuke SAM with four missiles, then head straight for nearest AAA guns blazing when in effective range (6 klicks or something). I don't even try avoid AAA fire, it just gives damn thing more time to score hits on me. Stormhawk can take more hits than quad AAA battery anyway.
