It's the sardines that really hurt.......

Feb 13th 1944.......

Formidable lives to fight another day.....as all my airgroups choose to attack his CLAAs running in a seperate TF north....or the foundering Illustrious......confirmed sunk this turn............

Speedy did hit Vic. Point......with mass LRB.....and many planes were lost on the ground.....I've moved 100 fighters to Bankok to fly LRCAP.......Vic.P. airfield 88% damaged.........

2 Down still one to go.......flippers crossed........

He didn't swear as much as I'd thought he would... A case of being so angry he can't form coherent words...[:D]

Nicely done Faber. [:)]

Now it's time to poke the bear again. See if you can get him to stick his neck out some more. Anything suseptable to an IJN bombardment fleet? [;)]

That was great Faber! You basically took out his carrier air power in the Indian Ocean. Even if that last CV survives, she'll be in the repair yard for some time to come. As a lone carrier in the Indian Ocean, she'll have to hug the coast for a chance at survival now. Great victory!

Thanks, Mike.........

Feb. 15th 1944....

Speedy smacked my airfields at Tavoy again today.......destroying more of my airgroups as I am trying to get them out.........

AAG 3(Kaga,Hiyo, 2 CVL) is sneaking around the west of Java.....to try and interdict Speedy's troop transports around Timor.......

Another SAG is mustering in Tokyo bay to move to this theatre and join the one already there.........I'll have to try to close his airfields....or he'll creep up the chain of Islands...........

When he makes his move in the CENPAC I'll have to shift quickly to cover.....

What do you plan on using to oppose "he who shall not be named" when he makes a move in the Cent Pac?

Yes, somehow I suspect it would just drown a lot of penguins. [X(]

You didn't catch it. The torpedo is just the propulsion device - the penguin IS the warhead [:D]

My plans.....and a full list of late war wonder weapons.......penguin scientists are developing will be posted in the days to come...........right now the fleet is scattered,,,,airgroups too.........but will work on restructure the next few turns...and will post in detail......

Feb 16th 1944.....

Tavoy again is bombed and many of my damaged aircraft are destroyed.......only a handful of them left now.........

A Sally sqdrn from Bankok.........tried to sneak past the CAP at Moulmien to hit the Formidable(repairing float damage on assumes)..........only a few returned........after 1 250kg bomb hit a CLAA......

Lost 2 AKs to Speedy's subs........

SAG - 1 is 2 days out from a bombardment mission north of Timor.......and the Kaga group is still unseen to the West.......4 days from having a good nose around Timor.......

In 37 days a new carrier arrives.....by then I hope Sho and Zui will have upgraded.......and this will become AAG 2......

Mutsu is down to 11 sys ....so will be operational in about 20 days.........
