You know Matrix never gives out that kind of specific detail... It's getting closer and closer with every passing moment.

All the normal posters are busy writing bios for generals.

I haven't had much time for writing bios, so I'm just laying low until release is announced.  I honestly don't expect anything until after December 1, but I hope I'm wrong.

I know, but it also depends on the game/development team. Sometimes they do say later this week or next week, but nothing exact.

Furthermore, after not seeing a post for most of the day, I felt compelled to post something. Sometimes the forum gets very quiet before posting the game for release.

Very astute; Indeed it is the calm before the storm.

The way these things work is that products get passed through many different sets of hands prior to release, and at each step there is the possibility of unforseen problems resulting in delay. So nobody wants to be beholden to a set date - there are just too many unknowns. Thanks for your patience!

Just to add to what pixelpusher wrote, the good news is that we have a new build up that is 100% complete in terms of code and graphics, and if we can play it without our computers bursting into flames then we've got a finished product. We'll let you know when we have affirmed that our program is safe at any speed.

Some new AAR's? I miss them [:(] Maybe just screens. Whatever. Please

I'll try to post some stuff later. I've been busy. Plus, rather annoyingly, Matrix's forum has a limit of 200KB for uploaded images and most of my screenshots are more than that, so I need to find the time to reduce the images first.

I did fight a very enjoyable battle in Kentucky last night. And have images to prove it.

Well, that was yesterday. I'm imagining you sitting there warming your hands in front of your burning computers.

Gil, if you use Imageshack or Photobucket, they give you the HTML code to post a thumbnail - I believe the actual jpg is taking up their server space instead of Matrix' :)

Thanks. Fortunately, it seems that only detailed battle screenshots lead to such large JPEG's -- all of the ones I've been posting for the PBEM AAR have been small enough.
