Subscript out of range Error message:

Post by local8h »

Hello Guys, First of all I am tremendiously happy with the Beta Patch.....Awesome...

Heres a couple of errors on a basic task that a gamer uses:(these are either on Reseted and None Reseted League)( I need to mention that im playing under U.S.mode)

A. Choosing a saved game on a reset and a none reset league season game it generates an Error:
"Type mismatch in procedure and modGameScreen.saveGameLoad Press F9 to attempt continue"
Pressing F9 will take you back to the Main Menu.

B.On Team Data/View Team Screen Menu/Depth Chart/Subtitute Player and when you choose a player on
the available Player box it generates an Error:

"Subscription out of range in procedure clsDepthChart.ProcessForMainScreen Press F9 to continue"
Pressing F9 will take you back to the Team Data Menu.

But i just avoid it by first selecting a position on the Formation View position box and then select a player in the Available player box. This way it does not generates an Error[:)]

OOPS SORRY I POSTED IT ON THE WRONG THREAD.....

A. I fixed this last night. Another user found this bug and emailed me his league file and his saved game file. It has been fixed and will be in the next public beta. The bug is caused because the league draft rounds value is not saved to the database until you change that value to something other than the default (no draft), save the league, go back to the league, and set the draft rounds back to what you want it to be. The problem is actually with the saving of the game. As unconnected as the two may seam, it's the incorrect draft round value in the database that is preventing games from being saved properly. So when you load it back, the game crashes.

B. Okay.. that's not been reported before. Looks like an easy fix.. thanks for posting. It will be fixed for the next public beta.
