has anyone created any WW1 era mods or scenarios for HTTR/COTA ?

any suggestions on how to model fixed defensive positions, trench lines etc ?

Interesting idea. You could easily modify the "fort-church" area type to represent trenches in Mapmaker. Modify the graphic bitmap, and adjust the Hit, movement, and visibility effects and you have yourself a trench line.

Kind of what I did with the Bulge Maps to represent "dragons teeth" tank barriers (hey, this could be the first sneak preview here...[X(])

nice idea for a barrier, can it have a defensive benefit ?
