This is starting to get suspicious. 500+ guns and 2000+ assault points, and the Allies can't inflict ANY casualties at Canton?? And yet, they can do it at Malacca with half as many guns and a third of the assault points.

Surprisingly low force levels. Perhaps Nik was evacuating Manila and didn't quite manage to complete the job?

Well, Nik retreated all his troops to Bataan, where they will die from starvation and help to train Japanese bomber crews. I captured about 15000 resources in Manila, but supply levels were close to 2000.

Well, Nik retreated all his troops to Bataan, where they will die from starvation and help to train Japanese bomber crews. I captured about 15000 resources in Manila, but supply levels were close to 2000.

Starving them out may take a while: historically they lasted until April, and that was without the supplies from Manila that Nik may well have managed to transport. Are you using the latest patch that allows units to be eliminated through attrition?

I'd recommend against using IJA DBs when bombing Bataan.  You'll take high losses with them.  In this part of the war, I'd recommend using them against the un/lightly escorted merchants fleeing the area.  They can smother them in 100 kg bombs.  They're pretty effective at that.

-The second round of attacks against Singapore resulted in more hits but also more Ki-21 lost. The Ki-49 is doing much better....
