I couldn't name it off the top of my head. Which CVE is in that picture with U505?

(I know it now, I looked it up...)

I grew up in the suburbs of Chicago, and I remember touring the U-505 at the Museum of Science and Industry. IIRC this was the first "prize of war" captured by the US Navy since the War of 1812.

Cap'n Fatso - Bosun's Mate 1st Class, was one of them.

I still have three of his books but its been awhile since I've read them.
