Invalid SN

Post by Weavos »

Hello,

I bought this game for my brother over the summer. I purchased the hard copy CD and it was mailed to him. He just got around to try to install it. However, I believe he received an "Invalid or Bad Serial Number" error message. Anyone know of this problem?

Thanks

Bump,

BTW, the serial number on the CD itself is all digits (nine numbers), which is what we entered. Is there supposed to be dashes entered somewhere?

Thanks

There should be a 16-digit serial number (at least that's how many digits my serial number has).  Granted I did a digit download of PureSim 2007, but I did purchase PureSim 2005 on disc, and that had the serial # listed on the front of the disc itself.

The serial number should be in this format: xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx

Hope that helps.

Thanks Catankerous,

The serial number is NOT in that format.  Also, It may have 17 instead of 16 digits.  All of the them are lined up right next to each other.

It may be that disk serial numbers differ from download numbers, but my number is in the same format with the same number of digits as stated by Cantankerous. In fact my Maxiumum Football serial number (also Matrix) has 16 digits in that format.
