Myself and two buds are about to start a tag team match, two us playing US and the other playing Japanese. We're looking for a shorter, balanced scenario, stock.

Anybody have any favorites? Thanks in advance!

I'd take Guadalcanal...

Just be sure that you recognize that in the Guadalcanal short scenario, you will both be starved for replacement aircraft, in addition to other things - ships, men, supplies, etc. Other than that it is a lot of fun, and very trying with a capable opponent.

Guadalcanal really is the only scenario that is close to being balanced. Allies have LBA advantage while IJN has CV advantage. AC replacements for both sides are quite low, so this make players cautious, which is a good thing.

Guadacanal is the best. I've played several pbem games, both sides.

Hey. You're on a Naval Warfare forum. Shouldn't your signature read "The floggings will continue until morale improves?" Oh, that's right. It's in the 20th century.
