CL Denver Class

The Denver class CL's upgrade in 4/25.
I see no changes except that they become PG's.
Please explain why they incur 15 damage points to change class.

It's dev #51 5in/50 Mk 6 Gun exchanged to #54 5in/40 Mk 3 Gun. By being smaller caliber it has shorter range, but higher accuracy. So, there is changes. Don't know if it is worth 15 damage.

Also general maintenence. These cruisers date from an 1890s design, and would need general overhaul by the late '20s (IRL they went out of service into mothbauls by '26 IIRC).

That alone is worth 15 damage.

Is there an easy way to determine the upgrade result and "cost" before committing to the upgrades?

Easiest way to check results is to use editor. I have no idea how to get exact "cost" of upgrade. Guess it depends on the amount of equipment been introduced and the size of the ship.
