Really stupid rookie question

Post by leadhitter »

Just got the CD from my UPS guy. I am not embarrassed to say I was waiting at the end of the driveway. My dumb questions are as follows:
1. I can't find anywhere what verison of the game I have. Where do I find them? I'd hate to download updates I don't need.

2. If I do need all the available downloads, where do I send them?...or do I just select OPEN and it goes automatically into the right folders?

3. I'm assuming it's a good ides to print out the entire 222 page manual? Especially since I plan to screw around at work by reading it.

Thanks for the help.

The manual is a good read, but take it with a pinch of salt. Many things are wrong or have changed. It can also get very pricey to print out. I know of someone here who spent 200+ dollars getting the thing printed.

Think the $200 was spent to print it in color at Kinkos.  Best to use someone elses ink and paper for that if you can.  [:D]

And I would recommend 2 sided if you can find a printer to do that.  Makes the book a bit slimmer.

It is a lot cheaper to print it at work after the boss has left. [X(]

I even acquired the folder to put it all in [:D] Made up for the miserly raise I got that year.
