This plane is all I have left......

April 4th 1944.....a day that will live in Infamy.......

Speedy hit the HIs with the Death Star.....and despite having 8 carriers and over 50 land based airgroups ready to welcome him........he didn't even get a dent on his collective bumpers(do carriers have bumpers)....he smashed up Tokyo pretty bad........over 25 ships damaged ..........

The highlights include me losing over 750 aircraft........

and now a few posts to give you a feel for the day.......this lot breezed through my not insignificant CAP

[fabertong]

He attacks my carriers......not UBER CAP...but massed land based aircraft flying from HI

[fabertong]

The boys do their job........

[fabertong]

The one thing about this turn I enjoyed.......

[fabertong]

One

[fabertong]

OOps let's try again......one

[fabertong]

Two

[fabertong]

three

[fabertong]

four

[fabertong]

Five

[fabertong]

A suicide DD attack also went in......

[fabertong]

and yes they did mostly die....what is left will be tidied up today........my carriers are retreating along with most capitol ships to Shanghei.......the rest of the little red dots are now cannon fodder.......as Speedy could camp here for the rest of the year..........let's hope he invades the HIs to put me out of my misery.......

[fabertong]

I do apologize for being a moaning old penguin.......but I feel better having got that off my chest....the talking cure ...Freud called it..........

[DuckofTindalos]

Damn... Talk about being hit with a very big hammer...

[rtrapasso]

Yikes!!! Ouch indeed!!! [X(]

[fabertong]

I know.....and to think I used to play this game for 'fun'......seems a long time ago.........ok maybe 2 turns ago.......

[niceguy2005]

Can't blame you in the least for being unhappy with those results. How far away did you spot Speedy coming in?
