Multi Player Save Help!!!!

Post by barbarossa2 »

Playing multi game, and realized we couldn't start from our game last week.

We are trying to trouble shoot this.

Do we BOTH need to save a game to start?

Both the host AND the joiner?

My host is not getting a start button when he selects the scenario we saved last week.

And it says I don't have a copy of the saved game.

Anyone know how to do this so we can start again in a week? We are in the middle of a game right now and would hate to throw the evening away.

THANKS!!!!

I think you both need the same save game. One of you should mail the saved game to the other and both open the same one...

Yep, AlexB is right. As a general rule I recommend the host saving and emailing the file to the joiner.

This doesn't make sense.

Player A names his file "Allied Monday". Player B names his file "Axis Monday"

If Player A sends his file to his opponent, Player B can now can now open the file "Allied Monday" and find out the location and the status of each and every enemy unit on the map.

Ah! Now I get the password! I always thought both players needed the same password, but it should be quite the opposite!
