From the site:
Nga Toa meaning "Many Warriors" in the Maori language is a project dedicated to preserving the oral histories of New Zealand’s last remaining World War II veterans. To date, over 150 interviews have been compiled in the Nga Toa video archive by Patrick Bronte a young man who, paralyzed from the shoulders down, has been working hard to preserve the experiences of his nations World War II veterans.
There are numerous interviews with the Kiwis that actually fought in the Aegean theatre, both on the mainland as well on Crete. The site also besides these unique first hand accounts contains alot of just as fantastic photos.

I hope you find it both useful as well as inspiring to go even deeper in what is the background to this great wargame.
