CC2 vs CC3 comparison

Post by Infidel »

Since I played CC2 quite a lot but never CC3, can someone please describe the major differences between the two games (other than the fact that CC2 = Market Garden and CC3 = Russian Front)? I am referring to differences in gameplay, AI, tactics, etc... Thanks!

Some of them:

Linear Campaign System.
Requisition Point Based Battle Group with Historical rarity option
Same Battle Group through all Campaigns/Ops
Larger Maps
More Teams/Units types
Fantastic Custom Battle/Scenario Creator
Team/Unit Grouping with ShortCut Keys.
...

AI performs less agressively.
AI tends to buy up resulting in a Tank Heavy dynamic.
Tanks mash infantry to shreds.

There's more, but that is off the top of my head...
