Boredom alert!!

Well good heavens no, I better go back and edit out my comment if I am rendering you bored. You really owe it to yourself to do some digging on your new pal's various posts on the female species here and elsewhere. Of course, "luckily" he managed to nuke NAMB and the old AoW is now gone but the metamucil Kid is a work of art in the misogyny department.

Considering I am an "eeeeeevvvvviiiiilll Conservative" and all that I thought I was supposed to be the sexual more' unsophisticated misogynistic troglydyte, but again "luckily" Lester is "enlightened" and thus gets a pass. I find his inference regarding "Rape me Please" after his sense of "bewildered whimsy" over a mother's reaction to a 40 year old exposing her son to animated cheese cake at best if it was mundane anime, and pre-coital disrobing if it was as I suspect Hentai coupled with this latest rant to be rather vile and disgusting. The old Art of Wargaming was slammed shut for far less disgusting and egregious speech than Lester has graced the forum with twice in the last two weeks.

Thing is nobody will generate the same effective background noise regarding a socially maladjusted, model making, Canucki liberal that they will over conservatives giving as good as they are getting in the political wars.

Les seems to be taking a hammering (and I'm as much to blame) for something that he probably meant in a different way. Sorry to put words in your mouth Les, but I re-read what you wrote. Yep - I disagree with the "rape me" notion. No question. But I know I'm very prone to say things in a badly phrased way, and when I do it on a forum, I can't put it right again very easily.

Sure you can by doing what you just did and clarifying. Lester won't do that if history is any guide. The fact is I suspect he refuses to do so either from his Bizzaro Superman level of pride and willfullness, or because it is in fact an accurate summation of his views. Never fails to amaze me that people will try to run interference for Lester though.

This is is akin to a Florida Republican spam e-mailing pages about desiring homosexual encounters being 'an assault on family values" but people forgetting that before Barney Frank outed himself we had Gerry Studds who turned his back on his own majority party back in the '80s censuring him. Of course, in the end it is all about what the magic little party or ideological indicator pegs.....never mind that unlike William Jefferson Democrat Louisiana we ran a genuine Vietnam war hero out of the party and into prison for ethics issues......

again it is all about "well what so and so really meant" with libs.....

Were you basically saying (taking out all the sexist stuff) that it's people who develop obsessive behaviour, become isolated , and only see the world (and women) through a computer box, and a "filter" that's quite abnormal, who are more worrying than people who mix, have friends etc, even if they do mess up from time to time?

Bwahahaha!

Yup those of us "mischaracterizing Less" are all "prisoner of the LCD" while Less is out there amongst the people mixing and mingling....

But no interest in US parties.

I'm always interested in a party! [:D]

I also like Americans, though it grieves me to have to admit it public. [:'(]

Nobody was boring me. I meant my post was going to be boring. Just that and nothing more.

As for the rest of my post, I don't know anything about Les. I was was just trying to find something positive to say. I did make my views on the general subject matter pretty clear in earlier posts, and I hadn't quite expected your reaction.

On this note, KG...I surely allowed my 10 year old to watch Lord of the Rings trilogy. There was violence galore in that...but I would not allow her to watch Mission Impossible II where there was some gratuitous, meaningless, pointless sexual references and innuendos or other films where there is swearing in it.

I don't know. I think people have it totally backwards, and you see this also with absurd movie ratings, where often extreme violence doesn't warrant anything above PG, but if a nipple shows up then suddenly the movie is rated R. Truly absurd. And quite contrary to how I was raised, where sexuality was now and then discussed in a mature (sometimes humorous) fashion and nudity wasn't anything to get all riled up about. The kind of sexual innuendo I see in movies, in my opininion, is hard to imagine a cause of much damage. On the other hand, I would keep images of violence away from my kids (admittedly they are younger than 10, but still) for as long as possible. Although throwaway (soft) sex scenes appeared in every 80s movie I saw, I would never ever rate that as serious as the violence depicted in modern cinema.

As for video games, I'd only go as far as to say that parents should just do whatever they think best, and my kids aren't old enough for me to worry about this quite yet (but soon!). A lot of FPS are just in bad taste, so I would avoid them just for that reason.

Hey totally off the subject but but what a classy act they did with the Intrepid by ground zero the other day!
I wish the Intrepid and crew a safe journey and eagerly await her return from her face lift...

Anyone saying Enya is NOT a babe, can come here and pick up their sign eh.
Here's your sign.

Now, what's "more" wrong in society, your 16 year old daughter wanting to wear a thong bikini in the real world, or some nut wanting to watch anime girls in thong bikinis?

What's crazier, real girls wearing clothing that screams out "for gods sake rape me" (whether they really mean it or not), or guys watching silly idiot anime shows where girls are always flashing themselves?

Frankly I find women dressing with so little on you can easily see them as naked with the least effort, MUCH more annoying, than guys wanting to watch over developed animated images of girls that have nearly no connection with reality.
Are you a pedophile? Seriously what sane grown man would look at a 16 year old dressed in whatever the hell she wants and say they scream out "for gods sake rape me". Then you top it off saying you would rather watch drawn on titties more than real ones? Man Frued could make a career off of you. Did you have a messed up relationship with your mother? Did a aunt touch your naughty zone or something because dude you have serious issues. It's ok to grow up and like girls you're older than 7 now.
Me: God that guy is annoying

Co-worker: What would Jesus do?

Me: I don't know set him on fire and send him to hell?

That's usually not my first thought...
(whether they really mean it or not),

I'm sure a lot og women wear clothes in the hope that they might get raped... [8|]
