Have been wantin to dl beta but fraid i wont know how to load it in. I am not a wiz at pc. Anyone on who can explain what i have to do to load it in game. I am one of these kind who looks for automatic loads.

Download it from here: The Armor Site SPWAW download page extract the contents of this file (it's zipped) into the MatrixGames\SPWAW directory when its ask if you want to overwrite select yes. The next time your start the game the main SPWAW page will display 7.1 Good luck

Download, unzip into your SPWAW folder (wherever you installed the game to). There are only three files, the mech.exe and two OOBs. If you don't do it right, it won't patch properly, but it won't break the game either. If you do it right, you'll see the version show in the welcome screen of 7.1.

Thanx gettin on it right away. Been holdin up on it. Do i need to delete preferences before i load. What about saved games.

Yes, delete your steel.prf file, in the save folder before running, saved games should be okay as is!!
