Abandoned springfields bug

Hi,

I encountered a strange bug today, after winning a battle against the north two of their brigades abandoned their springfields. however these where picked up by two of his USA brigades instead of by my CSA brigades ? is that supposed to happen ? or is that because the springfield is USA only ?

it is a known thing

what looks to be happening is, is one unit drops its weapons, and they are better then what another unit has, it will try to pick them up)

I had one battle where the 1st Inf dropped it weapons, only for the 2nd Inf to pick them up, just so the 2nd Inf could drop them, so the 1st Inf could pick them up !!!!

of course, both surrender, so no big deal

so, no, it is not a Union only thing

I thought we fixed that though!  I'll add another line of code to try to squash it, maybe it's happening between when a unit is flagged to surrender and when it actually surrenders.  Thanks.
