Quick question on campaigns

From the creators of Crown of Glory come an epic tale of North Vs. South. By combining area movement on the grand scale with optional hex based tactical battles when they occur, Forge of Freedom provides something for every strategy gamer. Control economic development, political development with governers and foreign nations, and use your military to win the bloodiest war in US history.

Quick question on campaigns

Post by slybelle »

Can anybody provide a quick summary of what each campaign represents?

Standard - I think I understand this one from November.
July - Starting from July 1861
Short - ???? Not sure what this one tries and represents?

Thanks.

Small is a campaign where you just start out with the Army of the Potomac and the Army of N.VA. no navy or troops in the west.

To me the idea seems to be that the dev's wanted to make a simple setup for beginners to learn the game mechanics w/o being overwhelmed like you would be starting out with the full camgaign
