Does anyone know approx. how long it takes to reconstitute a LCU and what would help it along faster?

For example: Your done fighting for Sing, but the 18th and 5th Divisions are down to half strength or less (around 150 or less in assault).

What does it take to get them to build back up? How many supplies need to be sustained? Would it help any to have a HQ at the base as well? And how long have you seen it take?

That's almost impossible to say with any certainty, because it depends on a lot of factors (i.e. supply, other units making demands for replacements, etc.). I'm pretty sure that an HQ won't help here, but I could be wrong...

They'll rebuild fastest in Japan. It's all about how many bases with 20k plus supplies are close by.

But HQ's won't help, right?

Units will recover faster if they are in full support. Stacking them in a base with an HQ is the easiest way to accomplish this.

VSWG is correct. However, the HQ's do not help in any other way. They aren't like naval HQ which assist ship repair probabilities.

Also check out the thread by fbastos in section II.E here:

He found out that the distance to the base's HQ has quite an effect on replacements.
